Die Qualität von gefiltertem Wasser wird durch den Filtereinsatz bestimmt. Aus diesem Grund wählt Alvito nur solche Filtereinsätze, die in Deutschland hergestellt sind und eine besonders verlässliche Wirkung besitzen. Alle von Alvito angebotenen Filtereinsätze besitzen eine herausragende und verlässliche Filterwirkung.

Der ABF Duplex SD nutzt zusätzlich zu den gebotenen Vorteilen durch die innovative Fertigungstechnologie, die für die Filtereinsätze von Alvito verwendet wird, eine innenliegende Kapillarmembran zur Mikrofiltration, die auch Mikroorganismen zurückzuhalten kann.

Dieser Filtereinsatz besteht somit aus zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Filterstufen, zum einen dem Aktivkohleblock auf welchen als zweite Filterstufe ein Bündel von mikrofeinen Hohlfaser-Membranen folgt.

Hervorragend eignet sich der ABF Duplex SD, wenn ein hoher Wasserdurchfluss sinnvoll ist, wie zum Beispiel bei einem mehrstufigen Wirbelsystem oder beim Einbaufiltersystem in der Variante "C". Auch ist dieser ideal, wenn der Wasserdruck aus der Leitung gering ist.

Die Konstruktion und eine absolute Porengröße von 0,15 µm sorgen für hygienisch einwandfreies Wasser bei einer hohen Durchflussgeschwindigeit von ca. 7,0 Litern pro Minute.
